Thanks to The New York Times for the front-page profile! Virtual coworking is officially a vertical and we're thrilled to have launched it. Catchy headline aside, the future of work is using whatever tool works to maximize your impact. Some people can go to the gym on their own, some use an app or gym buddy, and many know that they are their best and happiest in a class with an instructor. Find whatever works for you! https://lnkd.in/eYTZynZm

March Cave Guide Spotlight: Lisa Hoashi This month, we’re featuring Lisa! Lisa is based in Catalonia, Spain and has been leading Caves for nearly five years! Take a peek at what Lisa has to say. ?? What do you consider yourself a nerd about? “I'm a nerd about habits and productivity – specifically about how to stay healthy AND get all the things done that are most important to you.” ?? What's your best tip for accessing focus? “Developing rituals that signal to you that you're about to do focused work -- whether it's a deep breath, putting on headphones, or shutting your home office door.” ??? What’s your hack for getting back on track if you've lost focus? “Taking a quick break, ideally outside where you can get back in touch with your senses – how the clouds move, the feeling of the air on your skin, or the rustling of leaves or birdsong.” ?? Biggest win from the last year? “I'm 50% done with a draft of a literary memoir.” ?? Something you’re recommending right now “The Moth storytelling podcast always makes me feel more hopeful about humankind.”

We did it! In just three hours of group focus, we saved $100k in canceled subscriptions and re-negotiated rates. The number one sentiment of those who attended? "I didn't realize how easy it would be if I just made the time for it. Jeremy Redleaf Jake Kahana Molly Sonsteng

February Cave Guide Spotlight: Nicole Walden We have a new monthly feature called the Cave Guide Spotlight where you can learn about our amazing team of facilitators. This month, we’re featuring one of our original Cave Guides, Nicole! She is based in San Diego and started coming to in person Caves in Los Angeles in 2017 before hosting Caves in 2019. ?? What do you consider yourself a nerd about? “I’m a nerd about biohacking on a budget, also ‘clean with me’ videos.” ?? What's your best tip for accessing focus? “A tidy space = a tidy mind. I always begin by giving attention to my digital and physical workspace, and simply removing what's getting in the way of my focus.” ??? What’s your hack for getting back on track if you've lost focus? “Take a micro-movement break. I'll often bounce for 1-2 minutes on my rebounder during breaks in the Cave.“ ?? What’s something non-work-related you’re pretty good at or enjoy? “Ever since I got my public library card, I’ve enjoyed having a real book on my nightstand. Currently reading The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt.” ?? Something you’re recommending right now "The book Super Gut by William Davis (who also wrote Wheat Belly)”

I know I'm paying way too much for internet service. I've known this for years, but I've just never prioritized doing anything about it. But our theme in January Caveday is playing offense, so I posted a "Cost Savings" Focused Work Sprint for the community... And I saved $2400 in about 30 minutes. The fifteen people who showed up? Saved $25,000 over the next two years. What's been on your list? I bet you have two or three subscriptions you could cancel/downgrade/edit in the time you're taking to scroll on here.
