Cavalry is the new data driven motion design and animation application. Created by animators, for animators — Cavalry makes 2d animation smarter, easier and faster to produce. Design in real-time for advertising, mobile, data visualisation, web, broadcast, ui, generative art, experiential, games and more. Cavalry has been designed with data integration at its heart. Optimise creative dynamically and personalise content at scale without the constraints of uninspiring templates. Combine any creative with data from Google Sheets, CSV files or external APIs and output to multiple formats, languages and versions. Render one movie or thousands, in-app or via the command line.

    ?? Creating 1.000.000 unique visuals within a week ??

    - I got mentioned at the biggest motion design podcast. - How a small group of people is changing my life. - And a peek at how am I all doing it. Chris Hardcastle dropped my name. At the biggest motion design podcast. School of Motion ran by Joey Korenman. Was doing an podcast about Cavalry. When your name gets dropped like that. Many emotions start popping up. A tear? Happiness? Pride? (They don't realize yet how much does this to me) And a "WoW" from Joey, almost in disbelief. Just listen what Chris said. I can take much bigger projects; That were only availible to agencies. If that isn't proof.... And than Ian Waters gets invited for another podcast. Run by Jack Vaughan; who is also part of Glide. The app-software that I use for - everything -! Funny how small the world is. Jack comes back on how Cavalry enables a one-man-band. And than the passion of Ian shows. Wooow! Not only that; he completely understands me. He knows who I am. I've felt seen by him. Because of Cavalry, I'm in a constant flow. I feel challenged at every single step. So this is a thank you for the people who changed my live. Chris Hardcastle Ian Waters Adam Jenns And Cavalry Community (Remco in particular). Thank you that you came into my life. My goal: Become THE Cavalry Expert (and Glide ;)) Make Cavalry an industry standard. And be known for the guy; who outperforms agencies. Who creates 1.000.000 visuals within a week, every week.     Over the past two weeks, I've been using my spare time to explore Cavalry. To stay motivated, I decided to kick off a personal project that reflects my passion for vintage books. As a devoted collector of Penguin Publishing Group and Pelican books, I aimed to bring to life some of the minimalist yet captivating designs of their iconic book covers.? I began with a simple design using a single duplicator, but by the third cover, I ended up combining seven duplicators along with masks!???     After years of learning, mastering, and getting frustrated with After Effects, we’re so happy to see newcomers like Cavalry enter the motion design software landscape. With After Effects, we get lost in infinite layers, tolerate sluggish performance and crashes, make do with unimpressive RAM previews, and then rely on 3rd party plug-ins to make the best of it. With Cavalry, we create responsive layouts and animate in real time, enjoy procedural based animations, and get out of keyframe hell. We’ve just started experimenting with it, but is Cavalry to After Effects what Figma was to Photoshop? Curious what y’all think, but our Creative Director, Philip Konya, is planning to create a comparison video soon.

    I am a big fan of the Adobe ecosystem, which has shaped the entire creative industry under one umbrella. The shift from perpetual licenses to a subscription-based model has made the creative industry more competitive and boosted Adobe’s revenue. For context, this transformation is similar to what Mukesh Ambani achieved with Jio in the Indian internet space. Adobe's dominance has grown alongside its stock price, and for the past decade, many users have been searching for alternative software. While 90% of their software has alternatives, the leader in the motion graphics and VFX industry, "After Effects," did not have a true competitor until the last three years. I have tried using Rive, Fable, and Cavalry. Unfortunately, Fable is shutting down its operations.
