Our London book tour event for Becoming a Causie: Champion Your Cause through Nonprofit Board Leadership was an amazing experience this week. A few old friends and lots of new friends joined in, creating a dynamic, curiosity-filled environment to explore trustee governance in the charity sector in the United Kingdom. It was particularly exciting to get to talk shop with three key leaders in the UK board sector: Malcolm John of Action for Trustee Racial Diversity, Ian Joseph of Trustees Unlimited, and charity governance consultant Penny Wilson. A huge thanks to Cause Strategy Partners Advisory Board member and Q&A expert Nathan Richardson for hosting the event in such an iconic venue, and our London-based team members Anakaren Cervantes and Ashley Bratrud for emceeing the evening. My heart is full! It’s such an honor to engage in trustee board placement, training, and support in the United Kingdom (and one of my two favorite cities, London).
