Meta has announced a restriction period for new ads about social issues, elections, or politics in the U.S. ahead of the 2024 general election, running from today, October 29th, to Election Day, November 5th. During this period, new ads in these categories cannot be launched. However, ads that have served at least one impression before the restriction begins will be allowed to continue with limited adjustments (such as bid and budget changes) but cannot undergo significant edits like targeting or creative adjustments. This restriction period does not impact Causal’s political and advocacy clients. Our dedicated team is available to assist with any requests, including the launch of new campaigns across various media channels to keep voters aware of important messages throughout this election cycle. #politicaladvertising #electionadvertising
