???? Expanding Horizons: Reaching African communities in Canada ???? ?? Whilst Cauridor is known for its B2B payment aggregation services, it also has a growing B2C brand - BnB - that serves customers through its SME agent network in Africa as well as through its own digital app. ?? In fact, the BnB brand is where it all started when Dr Rafiou Barry and Abdoulaye Bah saw the need for an easier way to send money from Canada to Guinea. Like many immigrants in Canada, they still wanted to support their loved ones back home and they found there were very few safe, reliable and fast options. Using their engineering and computer science skills respectively, they developed their own digital app, the BnB App, and launched it to the Guinean diaspora in Canada. Through active community engagement and positive word of mouth, BnB expanded and today it can be used to send to many countries globally. ??The country head for BnB Canada, Mouctar Salah Bah, has been integral to this growth and puts the success of the app down to their customer service philosophy. Mouctar joined the company in 2022 and his focus on community outreach programmes has paid off, enabling him to establish close relationships with customers. Mouctar obtained a bachelor's degree from the School of Management Sciences at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2010. ??His experience in companies with relationship-based marketing and sales approaches enabled him to acquire in-depth expertise in marketing and promotional sales techniques, making him an ideal fit for the role at BnB. ?? “Being a migrant in a new country is never easy, and as you navigate new cultures and norms you also sometimes need practical support on how to get things done. When a customer needs help with sending money they know I am just a call away and that the customer support team will go the extra mile to get the money to the recipient in the fastest time possible”.??
