CIB Adoptions 1532 & 1533 Ren & Stimpy Ren and Stimpy had patiently waited for this day a long time-just over a year in fact. None of us could understand why they hadn’t been chosen. Yes, we pushed hard for them to be adopted together, but Ren and Stimpy could easily sell themselves. Stimpy was a presence at CIB. Wherever you looked, there he was-posing in the window, lounging smack dab in middle of the table, readily available for any photo shoot. Ren could be a tad bit more reserved but was the master of the exercise wheel at CIB delighting visitors with her athleticism. She would happily follow one from room to room making sure she wasn’t missing out on an inviting activity. Abbey Willis & Raven Lockner were looking to adopt a bonded pair. When they saw a recent post on Ren and Stimpy, their interest piqued. They were also hoping to find feline family members who would enjoy the attention of their daughter. It all seemed to fall in place when they met Ren and Stimpy. We just received this update: “Ren and Stimpy are doing Great! Stimpy loves washing his paws in the cat fountain and Ren loves her sunny spots in the windows. They warmed up to my daughter super fast and love hanging out in her room with her when she's napping.” We’re ecstatic Ren and Stimpy are finally home and together! Thanks also to Kelly Shroyer who first rescued these siblings and gave them their paws up in life.

关于我们
Cats in Bloom was founded in 2019 with the mission to help stray, abandoned and abused cats and kittens in our community find great adoptive homes. Our vision is to provide an ameowzing place for adoptable cats and people to meet and socialize. We are 100% volunteer and donor supported non-profit. All of our resident cats come from a network of foster care providers and local rescues. Cats in Bloom visitors have the opportunity to mix and mingle with some of Bloomsburg's very eligible feline adoptees in a low stress, home like environment. When personalities shine, perfect human matches are likely to follow. As a cat is adopted, he or she is replaced by another terrific cat. If we are successful, our residents and your choices change frequently. Not currently looking to adopt? No problem! You can simply relax and enjoy the benefits of feline companionship. Feel free to study, read or catch up with friends while visiting the cats. The cats and kittens love attention and you are supporting our mission. We do not prepare or offer food but we can share a list of local restaurants and establishments. Please no human food for our cats! The cats, kittens and volunteers of Cats in Bloom look forward to your visit. Have fun and meet a furever friend!

CIB Adoptions 1529, 1530 & 1531 Tabitha, Raj & D’Artagnon Not one, not two, but 3 kitten friends found their forever home together!! Tabitha, Raj and D’Artagnon wanted nothing to do with the photo op on adoption day. They had a long trip back to New Jersey and if was time to get on the road. Although each kitten was rescued separately, this threesome became best of buddies in their foster home. Tiny Tabitha, (who will likely always remain a bit of a “munchkin” cat with her short legs and stubby tail) was the spunky leader of the pack. Raj, rescued as a very young kitten with a healing fracture of a front leg, never let this “bum” leg hold him back. He loved to romp and play, but would cuddle up too. D’Artagnon, the more reserved observer, would melt like butter once you earned his trust. Patricia Marsico and Jeanette Mostowicz have almost always had cats and dogs in their lives but had recently lost the last of their crew. They happened upon Cats in Bloom while attending a weekend event at the fairgrounds. They had not come with any intention to adopt, but sure were missing the patter of paws in their home! Patricia picked one kitten, Jeanette another, and when they heard the threesome’s story-contemplated for a day and decided ”why not a third!” For Tabitha, Raj and D’Artagnon it was “all for one, one for all!” as they headed home together.

CIB Adoption 1526 Elijah A first kiss! Now how sweet is that? ?? Elijah was certainly happy to see Clara Paden on his adoption day. They had met just the week prior but hit it off on that first date. Thanks goes to our volunteer Victor for setting up the match. Elijah was snoozing away in a favorite window perch when Clara visited. When Victor met Clara and heard about the kind of feline companion she was looking for, he tapped Elijah in the paw and said “wake up buddy, you don’t want to miss this!” Elijah had lost an eye to a globe rupture but had no difficulties seeing what a sweet and gentle lady Clara was. She was “purrfect” for a guy like him who loved his share of cuddles and lap time but had a bit of a playful side too. Here’s to many more years of head boops, sweet kisses and loving companionship. Congrats Clara and Elijah! ??

CIB Adoption 1525 Declan There was no better person to sing Declan’s praises than our volunteer Matt Stivers-and that’s exactly what he did when alumni adopters Linda and Tom Phillips came looking for a buddy for their cat Uno. Matt and Declan had a special relationship and when Matt stopped by, you were almost certain to find the two of them commiserating on the couch together. Declan also sold himself as he curled up in Linda’s lap. He seemed to have the same playful yet laid back vibe of their cat at home. Declan and his brother Malachi came to us from our friends at Soft Landing Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc. who were overwhelmed when the call came to help 2 abandoned kittens. They needed another rescue to step up and help. Unfortunately, the brothers also came with bad cases of ringworm that required weeks of treatment to get the “all clear”. Declan was a little reserved when he first came to the cafe, but blossomed into a bona fide lap cat under Matt’s tutelage. Declan is everything Matt promised he would be and has made himself right at home with his new family! His brother Malachi, equally awesome, is patiently waiting for his time to come.

CIB Adoption 1524 Rafael Rafael wasted little time making an impression on the Brill family when they visited. His gorgeous dark tabby and white markings immediately caught their eyes as he strolled out from under the couch to say hello. They are previous CIB adopters and thought their cat Carmella (Sweet Pea) might just be ready for a friend. When they saw how easy going yet playful Rafael was, not only with them but with the other kittens, they quickly decided he was “the one”. Andrew shared this update just several days after Rafael was adopted: “Little Rafael (aka Tony) is such a great little boy. The first day or two, he and Carmella were skeptical of each other. They are now best pals. Playing all day (and night) with each other, cuddling, and just enjoying each others company. Tony is such a cuddler. He enjoys sleeping in between my wifes pillow and mine while being petted as much as possible. He's a great addition to the family. Thought I'd let you guys know how he is doing. Thank you so much. We love him so much!” It didn’t take you long Rafael to put your paw prints on the hearts of your new family!????

CIB Adoption 1523 Skittles Skittles is looking out at a bright new future! Rescued as a young kitten by foster Candace Willard and nursed back to health, Skittles blossomed into a beautiful Tortie girl. Skittles seemed to have a sixth sense when Brandy Walton visited. Brandy has a soft spot for Tortie cats and had lost her beloved one (also adopted from a rescue) to illness. Skittles immediately gravitated towards Brandy when she visited the kitten room. It was as if she was purring “I’m here for you”. Brandy, in the past year, had taken in another cat named Meatball that an acquaintance could no longer care for. She thought Meatball was more than ready to have a kitty friend. Skittles was ready and waiting on adoption day to see Brandy again and share a little love. Here’s to many happy years together with your new family Skittles!

Malachi Birthday-4/24/2024 Male Malachi is quite the entertainer with main character energy. He thinks everything is about him. With the skills of a professional athlete and the brain of a toddler, it’s never a dull moment with this guy around. Malachi would probably thrive in a high energy household with gentle kids that love playtime. Don’t want to play anymore? Fear not. Malachi will keep himself busy with a ball or his own tail. If this sounds like too much action for you, don’t worry, he loves scratches, pets, and naps just as much as playtime. He is a very toy and treat motivated boy, but when he settles down, he’ll beg for your attention. Malachi is ready to bring new life into his forever home.
