Our Mission: The Catholic Schools Foundation changes lives by providing families with demonstrated financial need an opportunity to give their sons and daughters a quality education, focused on Christian values and character formation at Catholic Schools located throughout the Archdiocese of Boston, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender. The Inner-City Scholarship Fund is the signature program of The Catholic Schools Foundation. Through this fund, thousands of children in need receive partial scholarships to attend Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. Scholarships are given primarily to students in high poverty neighborhoods and are awarded without regard to race, religion, national origin or gender. The Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) provides volunteer, social and networking opportunities through the ICSF Young Leaders for business professionals to get involved in the efforts of the Catholic Schools Foundation. On Saturday, CSF Young Leader Kathryn (Sullivan) Palermo hosted a workout class at Lifted Fitness in Hanover to support the Building Minds Scholarship Fund. ???? With 15 people in attendance, a total of $2,355 was raised, in support of the Building Minds Scholarship Fund, to help change the lives of in-need students. After breaking a sweat, everyone came together over coffee and treats to connect and learn more about CSF's mission. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, and made this event a success. Last Friday, CSF supporters gathered at PwC's Seaport office for our annual Celebration of Excellence. Over 150 CSF Scholars from the Class of 2025 were honored for their accomplishments ahead of their upcoming graduation. ???? Scholar alumnus Sammy Cintra addressed the group to share his experiences at Catholic school and beyond. Sammy advised them "Be grateful for the education, opportunities, and connections that CSF has granted you, because there are a lot of kids that do not get nowhere close to these types of experiences, nor to sit in the room you are sitting in right now with all of these amazing people behind you."
