This photo was shared with us from St. Albert the Great Catholic School, one of this year's winners, thanks to their submission about their Grandparents Club. At a recent event, the Grandparents Club learned of the award and took a photo with their certificate (zoom in to see it!) Moira from St. Albert shared, "They were truly over the moon to hear they had been recognized—though, in their typical fashion, they were quick to deflect the praise, saying it is equally a blessing to them to be part of our school community. We are so incredibly grateful for their presence, their time, and their faith, and we’re equally grateful to you for acknowledging the impact they make. Today’s first $500 Leadership Award goes to a school community that’s really seeing the fruits of their labor! Jane S. from Highland Catholic School in Saint Paul, MN, shared that her students from Kindergarten through eighth grade collectively tend to an outdoor garden. The garden produces fresh vegetables that are given to the community via local food hubs and shelves.
