Sometimes when we're going through challenges, traumas, or tragedies, it's difficult to be thankful. We can get distracted and emotionally wrapped up in what or who we have lost, what we don't have, or how we have been harmed. These thoughts can prevent us from seeing, enjoying, and being grateful for who and what we do have in our current circumstances. No matter the circumstances, gratitude is the key to finding peace and aligning with God's will. Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Sometimes we can take the wrong path because we're too concerned about what others might think of us. Even worse is when we're worried about the opinions of those that don't have our best interests at heart. Seeking God's approval never takes us down the wrong path. "Am I now seeking human approval, or God’s approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant?of Christ." - Galatians 1:10 #WhatWouldGodSay #Decisionmaking

The easy path in the short term is often not the best one for the long term. "But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated" - 1 Peter 3:14 #AlwaysDoRight #RoadLessTraveled

Sometimes the truth is hard to accept so we resist it, avoid it, shade it, or distract from it however this doesn't change the truth. The further we get from the truth, the worse things become. On the flip side, the closer we get to the truth, acceptance of the truth, and living with the truth, the better things become for us and for those close to us. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6 #TheWayTheTruthTheLife #SeekTruth

In Mission of the Family, Jon Leonetti explains how our salvation and the salvation of those closest to us depend on how well we live our family life together. Our families are "the most common and natural representatives of the faith to all those we meet". As we continue to strive to grow in holiness, we help convert our families and those around us through the presence of Christ and His Church to those whose lives we touch. “…Love your neighbor as yourself…” (Mark 12:31) whether your neighbor is a customer, an employee, or anyone else. #Priorities #LoveOthersAsYourself

Don’t Trust Companies Who Put Customers First “Our customers are our number one priority,” is the oft-heard mantra of so many companies these days. “We put our clients first,” is uttered by so many CEOs one loses track. But there’s a problem with putting customers first. It means that employees come at least second. Customers should never be the priority.?People?should be the priority. Some of those people buy from us, some of those people work for us, and it’s only a behavioral difference. They are all people and all business decisions should be made considering the impact on the people who are on the receiving end of our decisions. All customers and employees should both be treated equally and treated well. Not because of what they do or how they are seen but because they are both people. Customers and employees both bleed red. Customers and employees both feel happy and hurt. Customers and employees both live to feel valued for the effort they exert and the expense they put forth.
