Health and Hope! So excited to share the new partnership... WAKEMED HEALTH & HOSPITALS Mobile Wellness Services is bringing essential medical care directly to the community at Centro para Familias Hispanos (CpFH)! ?? Through this collaboration, WakeMed's mobile health unit will be at CpFH every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, providing basic health services. At CpFH, a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh, we strive to support families and alleviate the effects of poverty in the Hispanic community of Wake County. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to serve and empower. WakeMed’s expertise and comprehensive mobile services allow them to deliver quality care to our community, making health care accessible and convenient for all. ?? ?? People who experience food insecurity are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. WHY??? This is because nutritious foods can be expensive, and cheaper foods are often lower quality and high in sugar, salt, and saturated fat. AND...
