Those that know me well know my family are serious Catan addicts, so we absolutely could not wait to get our hands on the Catan New Energies edition. Today is the last day of my marketing internship at Asmodee with CATAN Studio. There are not enough words to explain just how amazing of an internship this was for me. I learned so much during my short time here. I got to run socials for one of the biggest games at one of the biggest board game conventions. I got to help generate marketing initiatives and see them employed. I also got to create written and video content for web and socials and had so much fun doing it. I learned so much about the game industry and was welcomed into such a wonderful, accepting, friendly environment. A special thank you to Kelli Schmitz and Kevin Hovdestad for being such amazing supervisors and mentors for me. Another shoutout to the whole CATAN team for being so welcoming and so kind. I truly will miss each and every one of you and I hope our paths will cross in the future. Now I'm getting ready to head back for my final year of college at Drake University where I'll be graduating May 2025. I can't wait to learn even more and apply the skills I've learned at my internship to my studies.
