??????TALENT TUESDAY?????? When “Roadtrip Nation,” a documentary series that airs nationally on PBS affiliates, asked us to participate in an episode entitled Built on Skills, we jumped at the opportunity. This is what we've done for 25 years: build a better, more productive workforce based on what people can do, not their past pedigree. Our software developer Sam shares his experience and expertise with “Roadtrip Nation” to help one of its “Roadtrippers” find a similar path into the tech industry. His segment starts around the 12:00 minute mark.

Over the past year, we've worked as a member of the Greater Baltimore Tech Hub Consortium to raise the region's profile as a world-class tech hub. That work continued this week as our own Curt Schwab spoke at an event with visiting U.S. Economic Development Administration officials about the importance of talent in any tech ecosystem. If we can all work together to help 10,000 people in the region find careers over the next decade, it would have a $4 billion impact on the region. We remain committed to this goal and hope you'll join us in making it a reality. https://lnkd.in/edUGhE54

Young people love the “earn while you learn” model, because they don’t need to take out student loans to acquire valuable skills. And businesses that have launched apprenticeships often find that their new employees remain very loyal.
Opinion | The United States needs 3 million apprentices. We’re not even close.

A research study interviewed 65 data scientists and engineers to find out how to avoid AI project failure. One of the top ways to ensure your AI project succeeds? "Focus on the problem, not the technology: Successful projects are laser-focused on the problem to be solved, not the technology used to solve it." AI, like with technologies that came before, doesn't work just because it exists. It works because you apply the right tool to solve the right problem. Our AI advisory consultants can help you best match solution to problem and avoid AI pitfalls.
