Big Grove Brewery is expanding its operations to Nebraska, with a new over 10,500 square foot taproom and a 6,000 square foot patio. This new location will be similar in scale to their Iowa City, Des Moines, and Cedar Rapids locations in Iowa. Located in Denver, Colorado’s River North District (RiNo), Catalyst HTI is bringing together private enterprise (startups to Fortune 20), government, academic and non-profit organizations with healthcare providers and payers to accelerate innovation and drive real, lasting change. We welcome entrepreneurs and industry leaders pursuing innovation in mobile and wearable tech, digital health enterprise platforms, smart device technologies and related fields. If you're passionate about changing the healthcare industry and improving people's lives, we want to hear from you. Catalyst HTI will be built in phases; the first phase will be 180,000 square feet including over 10,000 square feet of retail as well as an events venue. Phase 1 is slated to begin construction in mid--2016 with a completion in mid to late 2017. When fully built--out, the Catalyst HTI development will be over 300,000 square feet. The building will have a variety of amenities including a rooftop deck, a cafe?, an events venue, a fitness center and bike storage, among others. Wellness will be a key component in the design of the building with a focus on natural light, clean air, and a layout that encourages activity and interaction amongst the tenants.

Big scissors for a big job... we just opened our new Virta Health HQ in Denver CO with many of our team members to get ready for our next phase of growth! Big thanks to Denver Mayor Mike Johnston for joining and speaking at the occasion, as well as our many Virta members/patients, who shared their experiences on the Virta Treatment. Especially moving was listening to baggage handler extraordinaire Mike from United Airlines who shared his -120lbs+ weight loss and T2 diabetes reversal journey in front of our crew. Well done Mike! Very happy for you. And our very own Amit Shah did a fantastic job MC'ing the entire "show". All I had to do was cut some ribbon... While we hire Virta Health team members nation-wide given our mostly virtual work arrangement (and virtual care delivery), we specifically wanted to open up our HQ in Colorado and encourage hiring there as much as possible. The reasons are simple... 1. In-person interaction is important and it's obviously easier when team members are concentrated in a few areas. 2. Colorado/Denver has strong talent for Virta-like high-tech and healthcare focused high growth company. And yes, it all comes down to people. 3. Colorado/Denver has excellent and attractive quality of life for our team members, especially when cost adjusted (vs. many coastal cities) 4. Colorado/Denver has limited red tape for businesses to scale and the local government is proactively working with companies like Virta Health to scale within the state (thank you!) 5.
