Highly complex electronic systems will often require several means of current monitoring to ensure efficient, safe and long-lasting operation. The wide measurement range and galvanic isolation provided by a Hall-effect current sensor can for instance be complemented by the stellar low-current accuracy of a shunt resistor, ensuring greater performance monitoring across a wider current spectrum and also offering measuring redundancy in case of malfunctions.   When a standard current sensor is not sufficient for an intricate system, the CTS engineering team offers custom design support. In accordance with customer specifications and requirements, we build unique and tailor-made solutions in which several sensors (current, voltage and temperature) can be combined for complete system diagnosis.
