  • Let's break down what sales is using the Learn. Think. Act. model! Learn -What is Sales? Sales is about connecting the dots between a problem and a solution. It's fundamentally problem-solving. Everyone faces problems, whether they know it or not, and sales helps identify and address these issues. Think - Reflect on Your Experiences Do you prefer to buy things on your own or have someone sell them to you? Think about the last thing you bought. What problem did it solve for you? Consider any problems you face that you weren't aware of until someone pointed them out. Act - Apply These Concepts Identify Problems: Look at your own life or your business. What problems are you facing that need solutions? Seek Solutions: Research, ask questions, and explore different ways to solve these problems. Take Action: Decide on the best solution and implement it. Reflect on the results and adjust if necessary. Challenge: For the next week, whenever you encounter a problem, write it down. Then, think about how sales techniques might help you find a solution. This practice will sharpen your problem-solving skills and give you a new perspective on sales. Remember: Sales is not just about transactions; it's about creating value by solving real problems. Happy problem-solving! ??

    What is Sales? It is problem solving at its core, from my perspective. The challenge? Some problems are known, some are unknown. Some solutions are known, some are unknown. When going to market.     You Suck at Forecasting - and here's why. You either do not know your numbers, are complicating things, or confusing your team. Look forecasting is hard - unless you have a DeLorean and a flux capacitor. Here are 3 simple numbers that directly impact forecasting. Time - expected close date. Amount - the total amount of the deal. Stage - the state the deal is currently in, with a probability of sale applied. I'm going to share a 15 min video later today, a deep dive on how to improve forecasting, what you can do in the next 30 days to get on the right path, and why this is so hard.     "Impossible is Nothing" - adidas What is your mindset when it comes to achieving results? Hell, what is your "mindset" when it comes to anything? If you lack an attitude or belief of something - is that thing even possible to achieve? With the right mindset, skillset, and toolset - I believe you can achieve anything. Let's lay out a couple of definitions. ?? Mindset = Attitudes + Beliefs. ?? Skillset = Your Skills. Skills can be learned, built, developed. ?? Toolset = Tools that you can use to create leverage, when you have the skill to do so. Simple definitions, and the order is intentional. There is a lot of talk about leadership these days. Lack of... Failure of... etc. My mindset around leadership. Leaders build leaders. Leadership starts with self. If you are looking for leadership, start with a mirror. Here are a couple of other definitions. 1?? Leadership is how we move forward. 2?? Culture is how we do what we do. 3?? Revenue is how we fund the ability to do what we do. 4?? Execution is how we achieve results. If you want to grow. If you want to achieve results. If you want to invest in your future. Let's talk.
