COO Eva Schulte Visits Catalyst Kids McKinley to Witness Program Expansion COO, Eva Schulte, recently visited Catalyst Kids McKinley to observe our expanding infant and toddler programs. These programs are designed to meet the growing demand for early childhood care in our community. During her visit, Eva also explored our thriving garden program, which offers hands-on learning experiences. This initiative is generously sponsored by CalFresh Healthy Living. Eva expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "Witnessing the dedication of our staff and the positive impact on the children reaffirms our commitment to expanding services that benefit families in our community." We are grateful for the support from partners like CalFresh Healthy Living to enhancing our programs to serve more families effectively. https://lnkd.in/g5rt52i4
关于我们
Catalyst Family Inc. (formerly Child Development Centers (CDC)) was founded in 1976 to provide learning materials and services to both state-subsidized and private childcare centers. The business quickly expanded to operate the preschool and school-age programs we are known for today. We again experienced rapid growth in the late 1980s and early 1990s when the need for infant/toddler and after-school programs on elementary campuses increased dynamically. Today, our mission, to provide responsive services to the children, families, and communities we serve, is brought to life across four key divisions. Catalyst Kids offers inclusive early childhood education and school-age programs to children from infancy to age 12. Catalyst ExpandEd Learning, in partnership with school districts, provides after-school programs for children TK-8th grade. Catalyst Camps runs screen-free summer day camps for children TK-8th grade. Finally, Catalyst Community provides support and resources to children, families, childcare providers, and communities. Our centers are licensed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, the agency charged with health and safety reviews of childcare centers. Headquartered in Morgan Hill, Catalyst Kids has regional offices in Morgan Hill, Sacramento, Irvine, and Oxnard, CA.

Employee Appreciation Day: A Celebration of Our Incredible Team Our employees are the heart of our mission, and we deeply value their dedication and hard work. Many leaders found meaningful ways to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day! Eva Shulte (COO) created a collage of her visits to centers, Alissa Olivieri (Deputy Director of Operations) held a raffle for a Sugarwish giveaway for nominated staff members who have made amazing contributions to our agency. ElizaBeth Phillips (Deputy Director of Support Services) set up a Kudos board for team members to send appreciation cards to one another. Cecilia Villegas (Enrollment Supervisor, Sacramento) stocked up “Cecilia’s Snacks Corner” for Enrollment Specialists, and Susan Dumars shared a heartfelt letter from the President with all staff. Thank you to our team—we celebrate you every day!

Communicating with Impact: Catalyst Family Inc. Embraces Smart Brevity At Catalyst Family Inc., we are committed to clear, impactful communication. That’s why we recently sponsored a professional development training on Smart Brevity for all Regional Directors, with participation from our Deputy Directors of Operations, Education, and our COO. Developed by Axios journalists, Smart Brevity is a communication formula that prioritizes essential information, explains its impact, and delivers it in a concise, visual format. By streamlining the way we communicate, we ensure our messages are understood, remembered, and drive action. We are excited to put these learnings into practice—because in today’s fast-paced world, clarity isn’t just valuable; it’s essential. #SmartBrevity #LeadershipDevelopment #EffectiveCommunication #CatalystFamilyInc
