For more than a decade, our League of Innovative Schools has grown to serve millions of students nationwide, yet remains a tight-knit community defined by collaboration and shared purpose. Unlike other professional learning networks, the League of Innovative School’s smaller, focused structure offers a personalized, high-touch experience, giving our members opportunities to develop deep, meaningful relationships with district leaders across the country. The League is accepting applications from forward-thinking #EdLeaders, now through April 30. Learn more and apply today! https://bit.ly/2todaff #EdLeadership #k12education #leaders #education

On the "luddite to evangelist" spectrum, I've been solidly in the middle when it comes to #ArtificialIntelligence and K-12 education. My focus has been on helping to call out the opportunities and pitfalls, making sense of and elevating emerging research and patterns, and building the communities and learning infrastructure we need to ensure efforts actually yield positive outcomes for kids and educators. I'm super honored to have been named by?THE AI SHOW @ ASU+GSV as one of their 2025 Leading Women in?AI. Even more so to be named alongside so many other brilliant women who I admire. Excited to continue the convo at the conference! The Learning Accelerator, led by the awesome Dr. Beth Holland, EdD, will be running a workshop to help teams define goals for and measure pilot and implementation impact at the Show. I'll also be moderating a conversation "The Brass Tacks of Big Ideas: Deploying AI for Learning" at the Summit with Chong-Hao Fu Dacia Toll Chip Linehan and Matthew Wunder on Monday 4/7. This week, I had the chance to sit down with Leona Christy at SXSW EDU in Austin to talk about the value of seeking support as a leader during uncertain times. ?? As leaders of schools, nonprofits and community organizations, what’s been top of mind for you recently? What challenges are you navigating, and how are you finding support in these times? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments or via message. Here’s a short clip from our conversation—hope you find it valuable! https://lnkd.in/eqScHrS7 Catalyst:Ed #BuildingCapacity #NonprofitResources

In recent conversations I’ve been hearing from education and nonprofit leaders across the country who are facing urgent and complex challenges in the wake of shifting policies and funding landscapes. The impact on their work is still unfolding, and many are looking for guidance as they assess vulnerabilities, adapt strategically, and most importantly, minimize the impact on the students, families, and communities they serve. Here are the eight key areas that we at Catalyst:Ed see gaining importance: - Legal consultation to identify vulnerabilities and clarify options - Scenario planning to explore different paths forward - Program design to adapt and strengthen key initiatives - Change management & communication to align stakeholders - Financial modeling to adjust budgets and revenue - Policy analysis to navigate emerging regulations - Leadership coaching to manage uncertainty - Strategic diligence with?mergers What are you seeing in your work? I’d love to hear your thoughts - drop a comment or send me a DM. I’ll also be at SXSWedu this week, and would love to connect, share how we’re supporting organizations, and see where we might join forces.
