Another (dance-worthy!) step towards making late-stage breast cancer a thing of the past! ?? ?? Gabbi will partner with ByteDance to provide breast cancer risk assessment and specialist access for over 16,000 individuals in the company’s global workforce. A Catalyst by Wellstar portfolio company, Gabbi is a pioneering healthcare technology company that focuses on providing timely screenings for women in their twenties and thirties. Today, the Catalyst by Wellstar team worked with a different kind of seed stage. As part of Wellstar Health System's annual Day of Service, we spent the morning at Our Giving Garden, a nonprofit farm and education center providing those in need with fresh food access, education, and greenspace access. Since its inception in 2016, the Giving Garden has donated over 10,000 lbs of organic produce and 12,000 eggs to the Sweetwater Mission, Inc. Food Pantry. The Catalyst team cleared away brush and shrubs, and laid down mulch for a new children’s slide and play area. Hundreds of other Wellstar team members also provided community service for over 20 nonprofit organizations today. Congratulations to our very own Hudson Long for winning the Wellstar Working Father of the Year for 2024! Hudson started at Wellstar Health System as a corporate chef 11 years ago and today serves as a Manager of Digital of Innovation at Catalyst. He was nominated by his peers for this honor for combining all the ingredients of a top-performing team member while being the proud dad of Hudson and Wren with his wife, Saja Long. Hudson is not only helping his two children grow into amazing individuals but also helped launch the WellFarm, which grows hundreds of pounds of vegetables each week at the Wellstar Corporate Office, proving that his green thumb extends from parenting to pioneering innovation. Celebrating Atlanta's Thriving Tech Ecosystem: Congratulations to the 2024 ATDC graduates! The event last night is an inspiring reminder of Atlanta's dynamic startup ecosystem, where innovation and entrepreneurship flourish!
