We are thrilled to be part of the team bringing the all-new 195 District Park Pavilion to life alongside our long-time partner, Shawmut Design and Construction! This exciting project will transform the heart of Providence, providing a vibrant year-round destination for both locals and visitors.
Yesterday, we joined City of Providence Mayor Brett Smiley and members of the I-195 Redevelopment District Commission to officially break ground on the all-new, ground-up 195 District Park Pavilion. This #ShawmutBuilt facility will become a year-round public destination, merging recreation and hospitality by offering outdoor dining and vibrant park infrastructure to further transform the Innovation District. Senior Director of Rhode Island Chris Maury shared: “We are honored to once again contribute to the revitalization of the I-195 Redevelopment District with a project that exemplifies our commitment to the growth and transformation of Providence. This pavilion will enhance the park and serve as a vital gathering space for the community.”?https://bit.ly/47DcAMY

We’re excited to be a part of this project, working with long-time partner, Shawmut Design and Construction.
Through an extensive phased renovation and expansion, East Providence’s new Edward R. Martin Middle School will revolutionize the education experience for more than 800 students with a facility that blends modern infrastructure with inclusive learning spaces. The 170,000 square foot #ShawmutBuilt project includes a three-floor addition for grades 6-8, a two-floor addition for Pre-K, and a comprehensive renovation to the existing gymnasium and auditorium—all completed while the school remains fully operational.
