In celebration of Veteran's Day, we are sharing this article about Army Veteran Dan Werner: https://lnkd.in/eJ4zPVJB Werner was referred to the VA’s Advanced Platform Technology Center, led by Executive Director Dr. Ronald Triolo, approximately seven years ago. He volunteers to test out new technology, including a device that connects prosthetic limbs to the nervous system to restore sense of touch. To all U.S. Veterans: We thank you for your service!

#BMES2024 was a massive success! Faculty in attendance included Robert Kirsch, Stathis Karathanasis, Bolu Ajiboye, Matt Williams, Colin Drummond, Andrew Shoffstall, Ana Hernandez Reynoso, Abhinav Acharya, Hamid Charkhaar, and Luke Osborn. A huge thank you to graduate students Selvin Hernandez, Tessa Kosmides, and Hannah Morgan who staffed the booth the entire event, diligently answered questions for any interested students/faculty, and connected prospective students to faculty members in their research areas of interest.
