    I love seeing everyone's professional milestones! Today I realized I forgot to share mine! Last November I completed the Foundations of Case Management and Utilization Management course by Case Management Institute, LLC. It was very comprehensive. I even got to use MCG Health care guidelines and just applied to become a guideline specialist in inpatient surgical care and general recovery care. This course gave me the confidence to know that after 10 years of being a dance instructor (which I also love), I still have the skills to succeed in Nursing! I'm looking forward to getting back into it. I'm excited to share my educational milestone!

    I’m often asked why I periodically partner with a self-publisher for certain books rather than always use a traditional publisher. Well, this article lays out some of those reasons. For the record, all of my books are evidence-based, with as much, if not more, rigor than those texts released by larger publishing houses. They’ve been approved as formal references for writing national accrediting exam questions and as study guides for board-certification examinations. My books are also priced more reasonably for users, which matters greatly to me. Oh, and this action offers one more powerful perk!
