We were pleased to support the 2024 National Manufacturing Day & Month with a tour of Cascade Systems Technology! We were very impressed at the level of engagement and interest the students had for understanding the process of assembling printed circuit boards, full system assembly, testing and other aspects of an EMS business. Lots of great questions were posed! Cascade has been very involved in promoting the growth of manufacturing careers in our community by hosting factory tours, offering student internships and being active in local manufacturing networking organizations like the Cascadia Manufacturing Network. To continue to meet the future business needs across our industry we must increase the availability of trained technical talent in manufacturing in our domestic workforce. A big “Thank You” to Karen Donaldson of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce for organizing the event. Thank you also to Misty Lewis from Century High school, and Jessica Aimonetti-Green from the Chamber of Commerce for chaperoning. We were very impressed by this great group of future engineering professionals!

After being named by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year” in 2023, Cascade Systems Technology (CST) was honored to participate in this year’s Hillsboro Fourth of July Parade. We were honored to have them tour our factory floor and discuss the numerous opportunities to work in high tech manufacturing.
