We ?? teamwork! Cascade Health was proud to support Solvang Retirement's Love for Seniors fundraiser for the Lane Senior Support Coalition, which helps low-income seniors with immediate financial needs like heating bills, transportation and more. And we always love seeing community partners like Visiting Angels, Cascadia Estate Planning, Churchill Estates Retirement Community, Eugene Magazine, and At Home Care by Onyx.
Eight years ago, on February 9, 2017, Pete Moore Hospice House welcomed its first patient. As the only hospice house in Lane County - and just one of three in Oregon - it provides hospital-level end-of-life care in a peaceful, home-like setting. But Pete Moore Hospice House is more than a place; more than anything, it is people. We’re so honored to hear feedback like this from family members of the patients we serve: “The inside of the Pete Moore House is warm, welcoming, inviting and beautiful,” but it’s the staff who “are truly angels. They made sure not only was my father comfortable, but all of us family members were taken care of as well.” We are grateful for the trust placed in us by our community, and we look forward to another eight years of offering physical, emotional and spiritual comfort to patients and their loved ones.
