Happy Global Recycling Day. Today, we want to take a moment to shine some light on recycling. But we also want to expand the perspective and include the entire circular system, where recycling is one of many essential components. Going circular is not just a way to reduce waste but also a way to care for our precious planet, the myriad of species we share it with, and each other. By shifting from a linear to a circular model, we can reduce our impact, create lasting positive change, and ultimately go beyond zero waste. We’re proud to share that 83% of our Spring & Summer collection is circular by design. The end goal is 100%. Our commitment to circularity is embedded in every aspect of what we do. From fabric and technological innovations to product design, and, of course, through Houdini Circle, where we help extend product lifetime through care, repairs, reuse, rental, and recycling. Real change happens when we come together. ?? It’s launch day! Our short film is now live ?? Released today, Now We Live in Paradise follows the stories of five smallholder cotton or cattle farmers across two states of Brazil. They live on the land they farm and are committed to protecting and restoring the surrounding biodiversity through agroecological practices. Their experiences show how potentially high-impact commodities such as cotton and leather can be integrated into farming cycles that benefit, rather than harm, the surrounding ecosystem. Using practices such as intercropping and rotational grazing, these farmers are successfully safeguarding nature in the places they call home — and have gained invaluable wisdom along the way.
