"It's amazing to see how far technology has come in the HR space the last few years and how it can help automate our processes and improve the employee experience." We agree -- and we're seeing the impact Monika Pietrzak!
Happy Open Enrollment season to all who celebrate! ?? Been super quiet the last few months, but that's because I've been busy implementing and launching exciting new benefit tools for our employees at Boomi! This morning, we went live with Cascade AI ? - a game changer for Benefits and HR questions. Cascade compiles our massive library of documents and generates quick and accurate answers directly from own policies. It's a win-win solution that helps support employees while also relieving the volume of inquiries for our teams. We kicked things off in the U.S. and will be gradually expanding content for our other global entities. We also launched our virtual benefits counselor ALEX by Jellyvision to our U.S. colleagues, to help recommend benefit plans that are the best fit for them and their families. Everyone's situation is unique and there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to benefit elections, but ALEX can help narrow things down. Both Cascade and ALEX can demystify your burning benefits questions like whether you should consider an HSA (pro tip: yes), understanding deductibles/coinsurance/out-of-pocket maximums, the life insurance medical underwriting process... ?? the list goes on! And more enhancements are on the horizon! It's amazing to see how far technology has come in the HR space the last few years and how it can help automate our processes and improve the employee experience ??

Great insights in this podcast into how disconnects can accidentally form between HR and the front-line workforce. Jonathan H. Westover, PhD, MPA, AF-CIPD, SFHEA and David Wentworth point out that since processes tend to calcify over time and strategies don't always adapt to evolving workforces, disconnections can get built in "institutionally," even when #humanresources leaders are trying to do right by their people.? ? We loved these points: ?? Learning and development training that used to happen in-person doesn't anymore, so it's crucial that remote and on-demand tools be engaging and accessible.? ? Flexible and "just in time" resources are crucial to meeting people with resources when they're in a mindset to use them ?? Shaking off the old ways can seem intimidating, but it's in the best interest of everyone to regularly explore new technologies and approaches. The workforce is ready for them, and #HR deserves the investment.?
Recently, David Wentworth and Jonathan H. Westover, PhD, MPA, AF-CIPD, SFHEA delved into a critical issue facing many organizations: the disconnect between employers and their frontline workforce. While leaders often have the best intentions, many struggle to connect with the daily needs of frontline employees and adapt to their evolving work environments. Here’s what they explored: ?? Understanding Workplace Tech: David emphasized the role of learning and development platforms like Schoox in building connections, providing mobile-friendly solutions, and supporting employees right where they are. ?? Adapting to Change: As larger organizations face the challenge of keeping pace with employee needs, David and Jonathan highlighted the importance of personalized, flexible learning experiences that foster engagement and address real-world challenges. ?? Prioritizing Employee Satisfaction: Investing in frontline employees is key to reducing turnover and boosting productivity. David shared insights on how tailored training, mobile learning, and on-demand resources help bridge the gap in frontline development. ? Takeaway: Creating impactful, accessible learning and growth opportunities empowers teams and drives organizational success. There's a big difference between AI that "almost works," and AI that **changes the way we work.** That's why we're seeing the concept of "vertical AI" really taking off, where an #AI assistant is built explicitly for a specific function or industry, in collaboration with end users who know the needs best. Casetext, Part of Thomson Reuters, a vertical AI built for lawyers, is a beautiful example. Watch founder Jake Heller and Y Combinator discuss how an idea for improving legal inefficiency evolved with the industry in mind, overcame doubt, and became so useful that Thomson Reuters bought the company for $650M. ? When AIs are built for specific functions, like legal or #humanresources, they are able to: ** Understand the needs of the end user, so all efforts can be directed at making that user's work and life and output better. ** Go beyond being a "ChatGPT wrapper" to actually doing work in new ways. ** Take a resource from "almost working" to being so accurate and reliable that lawyers -- or human resources professionals and their employees - can put their full trust in its output. https://lnkd.in/g3yJNNPT #FutureOfWork #HR #HRTech #EmployeeBenefits

Charlene Li nails why #HR is the "secret weapon" for making AI a seamless part of business processes. We'd add to that metaphor: HR can also be the "tip of the spear." Scaling HR employee support functions can be one of the fastest, most secure, high-impact ways to deploy #AI when leveraging intelligent systems built with the right guardrails. We're already seeing executive boards that have deployed AI for enterprise-wide employee support looking to their HR teams as AI leaders and ambassadors for other departments. #HRTech #FutureOfWork

Thank you so much to our customers at CLEAResult, Brett Schorle, and the entire People team for your partnership! We love working with you - thank you for trusting us at Cascade with your HR and Benefits delivery.
Recently partnered with Cascade AI and our experience has been great so far. The most valuable feature of Cascade is its ability to respond to benefits/HR questions in a relatable and friendly manner, which has greatly reduced the time our benefits team spends on answering basic emails and questions. The implementation process was very easy; we simply uploaded our benefits documents securely to Cascade AI. The quality of support provided by the Cascade team has been exceptional, and I would recommend Cascade to other HR organizations for all the reasons mentioned above. https://gocascade.ai/

I really enjoyed listening to this SVIC Podcast episode last week. Thank you so much, Prasad Setty, for giving us a shoutout! For those curious, check out minute 7, although I recommend watching the whole interview. The conversation is insightful, and as a plus, the hosts are seriously funny. ?? ? There are a couple of things that stood out to me from the conversation: ? I loved the discussion on the two extremes of AI enthusiasts vs. pessimists and the need to think critically about use cases while the landscape continues to evolve rapidly. ? The conversation about frameworks for adopting generative AI in the world of work was fantastic. I agree with the need for experimentation for large enterprises. Innovative companies are already offering products that can be implemented right now, while larger enterprise transformations will happen over time as a result. ? Adoption of AI in the enterprise will happen much faster than digitization. ? It's an incredibly exciting time to build a generative AI company. Our team at Cascade is thrilled to scale the world's most advanced, helpful, and trusted AI for HR and Benefits. ?? ?? ?? https://lnkd.in/gRjYEzBK
