CASA for Kids of East Texas is a dedicated non-profit organization serving the children of Smith, Wood, and Van Zandt Counties. We recruit, train, and support community volunteers who serve as advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Our mission is to ensure that every child in foster care has a voice, a protector, and the opportunity for a brighter future. Through the efforts of our volunteers, we work to provide safety, stability, and support to children in need, empowering them to overcome their past experiences and build a better tomorrow. CASA for Kids of East Texas is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. CASA for Kids of East Texas is a member of the National and Texas CASA Associations.
