A heartfelt thank you to Volturno Pizza for hosting an incredible pasta-making master class that brought our community together for a great cause!?? CASA Project Worcester County, a member of the National CASA Association, recruits, screens, and trains community volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), similar to a guardian ad litem (GAL). Appointed by judges to help on the most heart-breaking cases in the foster care system, CASAs help abused and neglected children navigate the juvenile courts, one child or sibling group at a time.

In 2007, in a then weeks-old courthouse in Worcester, our Executive Director Julie Bowditch gained two more siblings! Seventeen years later, we are honored to celebrate National Adoption Day yet again in the same space. Congratulations to 30 Worcester County youth who will achieve permanency today!???
