When asked what inspires her most about working at Casa Pacifica, Laurie shares, "I take great pride in working for Casa Pacifica. After 18 years, I still find inspiration in, and learn from, my colleagues. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that our efforts significantly impact the community. Witnessing the growth of youth and their parents as they develop stronger bonds, recognize their potential, and feel empowered is truly beautiful. Although the work can be challenging, moments of clarity remind me of our importance. Attending a client graduation or encountering a former youth in the community, now thriving as an adult, reinforces that we are making a difference.
