The Mission of CASA of Sedgwick County (CSC) is to provide caring, trained volunteers to advocate for the abused and neglected children of our community so that each child can reach their full potential. With more than 1,300 children experiencing foster care in Sedgwick County, the need is great. CSC has a strategic plan to increase volunteer recruitment so that more children will receive life changing advocacy in 2025. We need your support to reach our goals. CSC will host two signature fundraising events: Battle of the Bands – April 5, 2025 and CASAino – November 1, 2025. We would like to ask you to become a valued sponsor of either one or both events. CASA of Sedgwick County staff was proud to be witness to the official proclamation by the Board of County Commissioners of October 2024 as National Foster Youth Voice Month. Thank you to our friends with Culture Creations Inc for including us in this effort to amplify the voices of youth experiencing foster care. Court Appointed Special Advocates work to ensure that the voices of the children and youth they serve are included in the decisions that shape their future. Together we can ensure that every young person who experiences foster care is heard and valued. We can't wait to see how the Sedgwick County community helps to empower foster youth to use their voices and inspire change.
