Casa de Amistad works to identify and address the needs of the under-served Hispanic community In Athens, GA.

Casa de Amistad serves the Athens-area Latinx/immigrant community through its continuing educational programming (Spanish language GED and ESL classes) and other services well into the future. Casa de Amistad is the longest-serving organization in the area, dedicated to serving resource-limited immigrants by providing free Spanish language GED and ESL classes. Casa de Amistad's efforts have helped our students navigate healthcare, collaborate with schools, improve employment skills, participate in civic life, and build deeper friendships with the non-immigrant community. Over the past couple of years, we have taught 100+ ESL students and 15+ GED students.
