A new water treatment plant in Bonner Springs, Kansas uses a membrane treatment system to provide the community with softened water. Completed in collaboration with Burns & McDonnell the new plant replaces a system that served the city for over six decades and can produce two million gallons of water per day. Check out the progress on the De Soto Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion project! This project includes a new effluent pump station, rehabilitation of the existing headworks building and will increase the facility capacity to 2.6MGD. This cutting-edge facility designed to support the City of De Soto's rapid growth, is scheduled for completion in April 2026.
