These prestigious awards will be presented on Oct. 2 during the Latin American Congress of Chemistry in Panama City. ? Emerging Leader in Chemistry: Grissel Trujillo de Santiago Trujillo, a research professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and co-founder of Forma Foods, has been recognized for her groundbreaking work in chaotic bioprinting, which forms the core of her company's next-generation meat products. ? Leadership in Industry: Priscila Castelani Castelani, of Indorama Ventures, is celebrated for her innovative development of products with high agronomic efficacy and reduced environmental toxicity, contributing to the company’s success in biotechnology research. ? Leadership in Academia: Coralia Osorio Roa Osorio, a professor at the National University of Colombia and deputy editor of ACS Food Science & Technology, is honored for her extensive contributions to food science and her commitment to gender equity in chemistry. These awards, sponsored by CAS and ACS Publications, recognize outstanding contributions by women in chemistry across Latin America.
