Carve Communications is a PR agency that exists at the intersection of innovation and everyday life. We provide a full suite of PR, communications, and marketing services. Our focus is on generating awareness, establishing authority, driving engagement, and fostering activation for our clients. We do this through media relations, thought leadership, LinkedIn executive communications, advocate marketing, experiential strategy and activation, and more. We launched almost a decade ago to be the agency of record for the Miami Tech community.     The perfect media brief is much more than just a document that outlines logistics for an upcoming interview. It should also relay: ?? The Messaging: The core of what you want your spokesperson to communicate. ?? The Inside Scoop: Reporter preferences, interests, or even dislikes that will help form a relationship with them. ?? The Watchouts: Any potential pitfalls, like topics to avoid or red flags from the reporter’s previous articles.     There’s a big difference between DISTRIBUTING and REPURPOSING content: ???? Distribution is the act of sharing the content you’ve already created via your channels. ???? Repurposing is the strategic reimagining of ideas and research from a pre-existing piece into a different piece of content. You need both distribution and repurposing in your strategy. So Carver and PR pro Nicole Brief is here to tell us those rules to make our media efforts at the 2025 show successful. Here’s a sneak peek: ???? Right after you send a CES pitch, send the reporter a LinkedIn connection request. It helps the reporter recognize your name and read your pitch in a cluttered inbox. ???? Get all your press materials over to the media before they leave for Vegas under embargo. The show is hectic and most reporters are not sitting in front of their computers waiting for a press release. ???? Don't be afraid to politely grab reporters "blindly" while on-site at shows like CES. Spark a conversation and see what happens from there.
