We stand up for carriers. As does Jaime H.. Carriers and drivers do the job and afford all other participants the ability to do business. So why are they teated like this?
Brokers have a responsibility to the shipper which is why they use systems like carrier 411 to freight guard if you have had a bad day or because a carrier did something wrong. I get it, things happen in logistics and I am all for removing bad actors, but not impacting good carriers. Factors have a responsibility to help their carriers, so they should shut off credit if one of their clients is freight guarded. This should happen until the broker talks to the carrier and works things out such as maybe place them on the dnu list. This should be a topic of conversation at the International Factoring Association. A freight guard just closed one of my good friends business who was factoring for 4 years because he wasn't able to get loads due to a freight guard that didn't have substance. I hear factoring companies sales pitch "We are here to help you" well time to walk the walk ladies and gents. #factoring #freightguard #brokers #carriers
