A national specialty retailer optimized operations and achieved significant energy savings with the Abound? Insights platform. The retailer, with approximately 1,300 stores across the USA and over 18,500 connected units, faced increasing utility and maintenance costs. To address this, Carrier Abound integrated the Abound? Insights platform across 1,200 stores, generating actionable insights from daily data processing of around 9.6 million records. In the first year, the retailer achieved a 5.33% reduction in energy consumption, and by month 23, energy savings reached 7.92%. With over 48 million kWh saved, the retailer also improved first-call resolutions, reduced technician field visits, and minimized equipment downtime. The result: a data-driven transformation that maximized operational efficiency and provided substantial energy savings.
