CAPCA is made up of approximately 600 active members representing local, state and national air pollution control agencies; a wide variety of regulated industries; environmental consulting and testing firms; equipment manufacturers; related interest groups; and an interested general public. CAPCA is a forum for communication for individuals and organizations with different perspectives on air pollution control. We meet in the fall (South Carolina) and spring (North Carolina) of each year with a published formal program. Programs include many opportunities for networking among the various groups.

What a great turnout at the Carolinas Air Pollution Control Association (CAPCA) young professionals meeting at the fall conference. Please reach out to me with ideas or if you are interested in getting involved.
Pre-registration for the 55th CAPCA Fall Technical Workshop and Forum ends on October 16th - you can register after that but it will not be at a discounted rate. We have a great program put together, with useful technical information of course, but also some fun things like golf, young professionals lunch, Wednesday night symposium by the beach, and Thursday night "On the Water in Margaritaville" themed exhibit hall activities. We hope you can join us!
We had a great Young Professionals Happy Hour in Charlotte last week, co-hosted by the Air & Waste Management Association - stay tuned for news on our next meet up, but until then, we hope to see you at our Fall Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC next month.
