With a cutting width of 11 inches, a 24.18o incline capability, and ultrasonic sensors to navigate obstacles, the iMOW? 5 EVO delivers precision and ease, covering up to half an acre on a single charge. Controlled remotely through the My iMOW? US app, it’s built for convenience and efficiency! And, of course, all of this means a perfectly manicured croquet court, ready for the next game!

We are very excited to share that our community just received recognition for achieving Commute Friendly NC Gold status! Commute Friendly NC is a statewide recognition program, funded by NCDOT, to celebrate the leadership of state businesses and organizations who are taking valuable steps to shift single occupancy transportation trips to sustainable commute options amongst employees. These alternative commute modes include carpool, public transit, telework, biking and more!

The Carol Woods 45th Anniversary Fall Festival was such a special celebration! Situated beneath the historic oak trees, we had the perfect setting for celebrating the many residents, employees, and volunteers who have contributed to making Carol Woods such a warm and welcoming community over the last 45 years.?

The staff at Carol Woods Retirement Community has shown remarkable unity and dedication in the efforts to support our Western neighbors. Working closely with LeadingAge NC, Carol Woods has been committed to continuously providing assistance through various initiatives. Whether organizing donation drives, volunteering time, or offering emotional support, the team exemplifies a strong sense of community and compassion, demonstrating that together they can make a meaningful impact in the lives of others during challenging times.

Exciting news! Carol Woods' very own Jen Wilson alongside Kirsten Jacobs, with LeadingAge NC, co-facilitated a virtual shared learning series called?Embracing Dementia Inclusion. During the five-part series they explored the arguments against locked and segregated dementia care, unpacked the barriers associated with offering inclusive and integrated memory care, and imagined a world without stigma related to dementia.
