We're "Putting Our Best Flip-Flop Forward" – twenty Shore Excursion Managers from across the fleet gathered in Miami for the Carnival Adventures Leadership Conference. The conference featured hands-on sales training, dynamic team-building exercises, and in-depth discussions on key performance indicators and strategic initiatives all while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. A major highlight was a visit from President Christine Duffy, who celebrated our win of USA Today's 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Cruise Line for Shore Excursions. She praised the team’s dedication, emphasizing the critical role shore excursions play in creating unforgettable experiences. Hard work and dedication always yield great rewards!

Carnival President Christine Duffy visited Carnival Valor and Carnival Liberty in New Orleans. As she met with different teams, she was greeted with open arms, big smiles and even personalized welcome signs. Christine expressed her gratitude, highlighting our team members' hard work and commitment to ensuring our guests have fun and memorable vacations with us!

Today, Team Carnival proudly participated in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge event for the 10th year! With more than 90 team members representing Carnival Cruise Line, we came together to ride, run, walk, volunteer and most importantly—make an impact. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our team, we raised over $60,000 to support life-saving cancer research. We’re incredibly proud to stand alongside so many others in the fight against cancer. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this incredible cause.

We welcomed the Bahamas Shipowners Association (BSA) and representatives from the Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) aboard Mardi Gras during her stop in Nassau. The visit, facilitated by Senior Vice President of Fleet Governance and Nautical Operations Domenico Rognoni, also Chairman of the Board of the BSA, and Vice President II of Compliance Benton Lobo, provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and showcase the ship’s operations. Following a ship tour, representatives from the BMA presented Mardi Gras Captain Giuseppe Giusa with a commemorative plaque, acknowledging the captain's leadership, Chief Engineer Antonio Colotti, Hotel Director Carlos Santos De Mello and the crew's efforts in maintaining the ship's operations and safety standards.

This expansion turns Cruise Norfolk Half Moone Cruise Center into a permanent cruise hub, welcoming 150,000 guests annually. A big thank you to everyone who joined us today including Norfolk Mayor Kenneth Alexander and Nauticus Executive Director Stephen Kirkland. During the event, we also announced the promotion of two outstanding leaders to the position of Hotel Director. Their dedication and hard work have been truly inspiring. Teamwork goes beyond our ships—it extends into the communities we visit and sail from. During the Senior Officers Leadership Conference in Orlando, our senior officers came together for a special team-building activity with purpose: assembling over 30 bikes for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. ?? This initiative not only strengthened collaboration among our officers but also brought joy to local kids, making a lasting impact beyond the conference room. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful teamwork can be—on land and at sea. ??
