ACHIEVE Milestone Payment Received Carnegie Technologies Spain has received a milestone payment of €317,945 (approximately $545K AUD) from Energiaren Euskal Erakundea / Ente Vasco de la Energía, the Basque Energy Agency, for the #ACHIEVE+ Project. A further €1.8M is to be received from EVE subject to successful completion of the next four ACHIEVE+ Project Milestones. The ACHIEVE+ Project is part of the ACHIEVE Programme, delivering the first #CETO unit in #Europe at BiMEP Biscay Marine Energy Platform. Export Finance Australia facilitated this milestone payment by backing an Advanced Payment Guarantee Bond. President Ursula von der Leyen mentioned ocean energy in her press statement yesterday, as an opportunity for skilled oil & gas workers to transition to a new sustainable European industry. Ocean energy is on track to create 400.000 skilled jobs in Europe by 2050.
