Our beer portfolio spans core beer brands, including local power brands and international premium brands, craft & speciality brands and alcohol-free brews. Carlsberg’s journey in China began nearly 150 years ago, when founder J.C. Jacobsen decided to ship the first boxes of Carlsberg beer to China. This was one of our company’s first international export markets. Nearly 30 years ago, Carlsberg established its first brewery in China. This year, we opened the 27th ?? As part of our Accelerate SAIL strategy, Asia is a key driver of volume and value growth for the Group, and we remain committed to expanding in China, our largest market. Today, Carlsberg China boasts a strong brand portfolio, which includes international premium brands and local powerful brands ?? Our focus in China is on strengthening our presence across major cities by optimizing our route-to-market while also expanding into new cities in a meaningful and vibrant way for consumers. One of the ways is through partnering with hotpot and BBQ outlets across the country. Here's a look at some of them ?? #CarlsbergChina #Growth #China

Have you heard of “Zebra Striping”? This term, popularized by Gen Z, describes a trend where people alternate between drinking regular beer and alcohol-free options at the same event. The practice of switching between alcoholic and non-alcoholic allows individuals to enjoy the social aspects of beer drinking with a more moderate approach. What's significant is that this trend highlights that alcohol-free beer isn't about rejecting beer -- it's about enhancing the overall experience and embracing balance. According to Nielsen, 78% of people purchasing alcohol-free beer, also purchase regular beer. Consumption isn't black and white?????? #AlcoholfFree #AlchoholFreeBeer

Today, we celebrate the 177th?birthday of our beloved Carlsberg brand. Premiumisation remains a major trend in the beer industry - driven by consumer preferences for unique and more sophisticated beers. Today, premium accounts for no less than 20% of our total volumes - thanks in no small part to the Carlsberg brand, whose premium volumes grew?11% growth in Q3 of 2024. The first-ever brewed batch of Carlsberg beer was recorded on November 10, 1847. ?After studying brewing techniques in Munich, our founder J.C. carried home two pots of Spaten yeast in a customized hat box in the Summer of 1845. He used this for his first batch of Carlsberg lagers. Once refined, he soon needed more clean water and enough chilled storage space. This led him to Valby Bakke in Copenhagen from where he would soon release his lager to the wider public. International approval came just 21 years later when the first Carlsberg beer was exported to Great Britain. And the rest is (beer) history! ???
