Caring for Mama is beyond grateful to have been part of the "Telling Your Story for Success Grants" program with FounderFuego! Our founder Kimberlee Richards was able to share the tools, insights, and confidence needed to refine your brand story in a way that truly resonates when applying for grants. A huge thank you to the FounderFuego team for creating such a valuable opportunity for women entrepreneurs. Storytelling is at the heart of what we do—helping moms feel seen, supported, and celebrated—and this grant has empowered us to share our mission more impactfully than ever. To all the fellow founders out there: never underestimate the power of your story. It’s what connects, inspires, and drives meaningful change. ?? #FounderFuego #TellingYourStory #WomenEntrepreneurs #CaringForMama #GrantsForFounders #BrandStorytelling

What an incredible "Telling Your Story for Grants Success" event! We are over the moon grateful and excited for these collaborative community partnerships and spreading the word to #business and #nonprofit #entrepreneurs about #funding and #grant opportunities. On Tuesday night, FounderFuego partnered with the BBB Pacific Southwest, Central & Inland California, Chase Business Coaching for Impact, the San Diego Tourism Authority, and Village Up San Diego to host a sold-out (with over 100 entrepreneurs, business leaders, and grant experts) community event at ignite sparked by BBB (TY, Samantha Scholl!) Before the event, we hosted FounderFuego's FounderFuel podcast in the BBB podcast studio, capturing the stories of the panelists and partners before the event (stay tuned for more soon). I kicked off the event with a keynote to set the stage from our February grants event and to provide a foundation for a deeper conversation on AI in grant writing and actionable tools to apply for grants. Adriana "Adri" Brunner and I curated an impactful conversation with grant storytelling experts: ? Kelly Twichel of Access Trax focused on highlighting a business’s social impact, she shared how she has won over $100k in grants, and she announced her biggest sale yet! Congrats, Kelly! ? Kimberlee Richards of Caring for Mama emphasized the importance of using AI to not stare at a blank page and adding the human touch in grant applications and she shared how FounderFuego's tools, AI prompts, and coaching made her grant application journey faster and easier to apply. ? Sue Silva, HMCC, CGMP of Avlis International, Inc. provided insights on how to align storytelling with grant guidelines, ensuring businesses meet funding criteria while standing out. ? Kamaal Martin of Art, Power, Equity shared firsthand experiences on leveraging grants for community-driven projects, showing how small businesses can create large-scale impact. ? Brian Westpoint of Movement Matters Collective highlighted tools from FounderFuego's grants with AI workshop for grant writing, offering practical tips on how to use tech to streamline the application process for storytelling. The evening sparked meaningful connections, partnership opportunities, and fueled entrepreneurial dreams. Entrepreneurs and business owners connected with grant writers and investors to help unlock capital to grow their ventures. The energy in the room was en fuego ??! A huge thank you to Richard Lopez, FounderFuego's CLO and brand sherpa for event graphics and photo credits and to everyone involved in making this event a success!
