Rebecca Richman Cohen’s WEED & WINE hit #1 on the Apple TV Documentary Chart and cracked the Top 10 on Independent Chart this week in its first week available on VOD. The film was an incredible labor of love, as she was able to share the stories of two farming families, one in The Rhone Valley and one in Humboldt County, CA. The film never got to be shown publicly as its festival launch was interrupted by the pandemic, but the team never stopped believing in its potential. She was able to bring on Cookies founder Berner, and we did screenings in LA and Humboldt for the community with special guests, and the participants and crew got to see it on the big screen for the first time. The response to the film so far as been magical, and it’s powerful to see its messages of love, legacy and family resonate far and wide. Sometimes you have to keep the faith.
