Patients dealing with rare diseases are often under tremendous stress, balancing the demands of their treatment with daily life.?That’s why it’s so important for the hubs that support them to accommodate them --- in big ways and little ways – at every step of the patient journey. Melissa Paige Founder of the Healthcare Advocate Summit and the National Association of Medication Access & Patient Advocacy (NAMAPA) shares, “A hub that meets patients where they are—whether that means communicating in their preferred language, finding alternative ways to reach them, or simply offering a consistent and caring presence---can make all the difference in the patient’s experience.” Read more from Melissa here: https://lnkd.in/em37pfQt
