I’m incredibly honored to announce that Waterlily Planning is partnering with Caregiver Action Network to simplify and expand access to long-term care planning for millions of family caregivers who give so much, often with limited resources and support. In this article, Lily Vittayarukskul and I share how our personal caregiving experiences shaped this partnership and deepened our commitment to helping families navigate the emotional and financial challenges of caregiving. With Waterlily’s AI-driven tools, we’re working to transform how families prepare for care, offering them peace of mind and a secure financial path forward. This collaboration represents more than a partnership—it’s a shared vision to ensure that every caregiver has the guidance and support they deserve when they need it most. #caregiving #caregiversupport #familycare #aginginplace #financialplanning #longtermcare #caregivers #AI #caretechnology #CANpartnership #WaterlilyPlanning Special thanks to Dean Stephens, Chance Browning, Jodi L. Koehn-Pike, and many others on Waterlily’s and CAN’s team to make this partnership possible Take a look at our article on caregiving and financial planning at the link in the comments. Hear from Candy, who has been caring for both of her parents for 3 years. The best piece of advice she had for other caregivers was to build a network quickly and get help "Nobody can do this alone," she said. "Find those who build you up and support you in this process." #GlobalDiversityAwarenessMonth is a time to recognize and celebrate the diversity of cultures and perspectives in the world, and to reflect on how to do better. When you’re caring for a child with significant mental health issues, there is information out there to help you, but much of it doesn't reflect that not all caregivers and caregiving situations are the same. If you are a BIPOC parent, you may face challenges that other caregivers don’t. Having to deal with things like stigma, discrimination, bias, and insufficient access to mental health services can make being a caregiver even more challenging. Go to https://bit.ly/4dHUUSi to learn more.
