Grateful to U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and the delegation from Thailand for the opportunity to share our real life experience implementing interoperability and making a difference in patient care coordination and safety.
Grateful to the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) for inviting Carefluence to the Reverse Trade Mission from Thailand in Washington DC (Nov 12, 2024) for: "The Future of Health Technology in Thailand Business Briefing". With presentations from the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, Param 9 Hospital, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Co Ltd, Principal Healthcare Company and Bumrungrad International Hospital, and the discussions and networking that followed, the invitees we afforded a good overview of the healthcare technology needs of a country that is ambitious and advancing at great speed in the region. It was encouraging to see the value placed on #interoperability where the exchange of healthcare data and workflow collaboration for the sake of patient safety and care coordination is seen as integral to the growth of their healthcare infrastructure strategy. Presentations from the USA Healthcare Alliance (USAHA) and HIMSS spoke to Medical technology innovation in the US, Health IT integration in hospitals in the US and Policy best practices. With Verinda Fike, Anna Pitzer, Sithisakdi Apichatthanapath, Kornluck Tantisaeree, Trevor Gunn, Dana Castro, Tom Leary, MA, CAE, FHIMSS, Pongsadhorn Pokpermdee, Nitchanund Tantisirivit, Supharerk Thawillarp, Wittaya Wanpen, Grit Nirundornkulchai, Kate Beale, Matthew Hein, Lisa Huot, Nikhil Parikh, Sarita Bunsupha, Avani Gangavelli, Rujira Kempet, Wipa Panmontha, North Techawathanawanna, Sonya Violante Jaferey, Valerie Sinden, Tiffany H., Zakir Sikder, Puru P.
