??? High School Career Express Students unlocked the power of storytelling ?? Students learned how to confidently share their personal narratives during a workshop led by Victory Cup Initiative Founder Ashley Vann at Lift Orlando facilities. Storytelling can be used to build self-confidence, enhance communication skills, strengthen college admissions essays, and help students in future entrepreneurial or nonprofit endeavors. We listened to students practice storytelling and public speaking skills by sharing their own stories in front of their peers, receiving enthusiastic applause and support. ?? The interactive workshop, led by 8 Cents in a Jar founder Lashea Reeves, taught students financial skills that will benefit them in their future careers and personal lives. Key topics included budgeting, saving, credit, spending, and investing.
