Career Centers in Ocala and Chiefland are open for business. Our affiliate Talent Center at the College of Central Florida remains closed Friday due to the college's continued closure. DISASTER UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (DUA) is available to businesses and residents in Citrus and Levy counties whose employment or self-employment was lost or interrupted as a direct result of Hurricane Helene and who are not eligible for regular state or federal Reemployment Assistance benefits. Additionally, work search reporting, waiting week, and Employ Florida registration requirements for Reemployment Assistance claims have been temporarily waived for Floridians impacted by Hurricane Helene in FEMA disaster-declared counties.
