This funding will empower 60 students in 2025 to build sustainable careers in banking, breaking down barriers for low-income and marginalized communities. Through our 8-week BankWork$ program, students receive: ? In-demand career training ? Free financial education ? The Workforce Washington Association leverages collective expertise to work in partnership statewide, creating a coordinated workforce development system. November 20th, 2024 - Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we pause to honor and remember transgender individuals whose lives were lost to violence and to reflect on the importance of fostering communities where everyone feels safe and valued. This day began in 1999 when Gwendolyn Ann Smith, a transgender advocate, held a vigil for Rita Hester, whose story brought awareness to the challenges faced by transgender people everywhere.
