Pets are family, and imagine not being able to take a family member to the doctor when needed, says Sarah Ocampo, Lead Community Grants Manager at PetSmart Charities. "Working together, PetSmart Charities and C.A.R.E.4Paws are bringing veterinary care to Oceano, California, assisting pet families who otherwise wouldn’t have access to it. We are helping families stay healthy, happy and with their people." We at C.A.R.E.4Paws are beyond grateful for this partnership to provide access to care in Oceano. https://care4paws.org/, #NationalGratitudeMonth, #PetSmartCharities, #IncubatorGrantee, #care4paws

C.A.R.E.4Paws' goal is to ensure pets stay healthy and with their families for life.
关于我们
C.A.R.E.4Paws works to reduce pet overpopulation, keep animals out of shelters and improve quality of life for pet families in need. Since 2009, we have provided a range of critical pet wellness services to community members in underserved areas to ensure animals don’t suffer or end up in a shelter due to a lack of resources and access to proper pet care. We assist more than 20,000 pet families in need annually! We collaborate with all local animal shelters, rescue groups, pet service providers and dozens of human welfare agencies. Plus, we provide community outreach consulting to animal welfare agencies in other counties. In February 2022, we expanded to provide our mobile clinic services to San Luis Obispo County. Our services include free spay/neuter surgeries and affordable veterinary care in our mobile clinic; provision of pet food and supplies through our Companion Pet Assistance program; assistance for pet owners affected by domestic violence; Paws Up For Pets youth education that promotes compassion and accountability for animals; and pet emergency training for first responders.
