Meet the NEW Administrators in Training at CarDon! We are so excited to have them as a part of the CarDon family. Get to know them! Nicole Roth has been working with us at CarDon for almost 4 years and has worked in long-term care for 15 years. She is excited to be a part of the AIT program and advance her career with CarDon, which has helped her grow professionally and personally. Natalie Miles has worked in healthcare for 12 years and spent the last 2 and a half with us at CarDon in different roles, with her most recent role being Director of Marketing & Admissions. She is excited to get started in the AIT program! Justin Thurston began his CarDon career as Director of Social Services at one of our communities in early 2022. Before working in senior care, Justin worked as a substance abuse counselor for 5 years. To grow his knowledge base, he began working at CarDon and has had several close family members that have worked in skilled nursing facilities, even his wife works with us at CarDon! He really enjoys working with this population and is looking forward to being able to help and support our residents in a new capacity. Nathan joins CarDon as an AIT this year. He has previously worked in customer-focused services. His dedication to going above and beyond for his team has shaped his ability to create meaningful connections and provide exceptional care. He is excited to apply these skills in senior living, ensuring residents and their families receive the highest level of support and service.

Congratulations are in order! Our Rawlins House Community team had a very successful fundraiser over the weekend! They took part in The Longest Day to help the Alzheimer's Association, and helped push CarDon over the $10K mark, and we are the very first team to do so in Indiana! Rawlins House takes a team approach to fundraising with each department taking a role. Thank you to our Rawlins House team and congratulations!

Did you know World Kidney Day took place this week? It is also Kidney Month! At select CarDon communities, one of our available treatments is on-site dialysis, a medical treatment that removes waste products and excess fluid from the blood when the kidneys are unable to do so.
